Nestled within a quaint neighborhood containing many traditional and modern homes, this two-story shingle style home was designed with vernacular architecture drawing inspiration from the architectural styles of surrounding homes to best fit into the neighborhood. The shared common areas are linked along a diagonal spine (pictured in the floorplan) to encourage a social environment among family members and visitors. Open concept living spaces are combined with traditional, more defined spaces to blend in modern design trends while maintaining a traditional feel. A central rotunda stair tower leads to a spacious master suite, two equally sized children’s rooms, and a tower loft which can serve as a common play area, or guest suite, while providing axial views to onlookers giving them a sense of fellowship with their neighborhood.
