What the Client Needed
The home owners needed a larger kitchen, a family room along with an additional bedroom.

What they wanted
The home owners wanted an addition that would not diminish the character of their classic side-gable Craftsmen home, would offer the space they needed within their budget and would use up as little yard space as possible.

Design Strategy/Solution
Our design strategy was to program the addition along the side and rear of the existing home. This approach allowed us to create the living space needed, conform to the limited size of the property and maintain the integrity of the existing home.
